    It's always been old school to me, and have never waxed a vehicle in my life.... Not gonna start now with a truck!

    I’ve been using Meguiar’s Carnuba wax since the 1970s. Not sure if it is the best stuff out there, just saying old habits are hard to break.

    I've been happy with the Turtle Wax ceramic from a price and application time perspective.

    just noticed paint on the roof (2015 MGM) is fading in the socal sun
    best wax product for protection?
    don't care what it looks like as it's the roof - just want protection

    Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
    You just might be suffering from the well documented paint failure that has been plaguing some Tacos. I've seen it twice, both on MGM Tacos (3rd Gen). It starts on the roof and turns into a sandpaper finish.

    I like that stuff too. I have switched to others though. Carnuba itself doesn’t last that long and it is a pain to put on (compared to other products).

    it gives a rich, deep, shine but I have found I can get better protection that lasts longer with a synthetic spray or liquid, and if I want that deep look just use some glaze. Time and effort wise you still end out way ahead
