P.S. I was planning on selling this--it's listed on Craigslist in Indy, AutoTrader, Cars.com, and Ebay if you're interested--but might go all-in with customizing now that I ripped this damn bumper off.

The actual cabling sure looks like a block heater cable though. I have one on my truck and the wiring looked exactly like that, down to the bendable part at the end of the plug.
The fact that it goes down through the firewall blows that out of the water though

Does yours have a male end, though?

Does it have power when the truck is running and you turn on the inverter?

Does it go thru the driver or passenger side of the firewall? If passenger, pull the glove box out and trace it behind there.

    Yes.
If it goes through the firewall, only other thing I can think is that someone spliced off the inverter to have power on the front of the truck.

Please remove cover and take another picture because it looks EXACTLY like this.

Haven't tested it yet but will try. Didn't want to blow anything up (I'm apparently accident-prone now.)

Those bare wires would make me question any electrical add ons installed on that truck.

Those bare wires are from me being an idiot and ripping my bumper off (and the fog light) by catching it on a rail last night. I taped them up afterward.

We believe you. But a picture of it uncapped would be nice.

Sometimes a hot looking female is really a male, when you look underneath.

Does it actually go through the firewall or just "look like it goes into the firewall"?

I suppose if I just looked at my block heater cable and didn't trace it, it may "look" like it goes into the firewall. In reality, it comes down just before it and attaches to the heater in the back of the block.

Trace the cable or plug something into it dude. There are only a few reasons a fricken 110 outlet is sticking out from your grill. We are not talking rocket surgery here.
