The appraiser assessed it and came up with $11k in damages (parts and labor). Currently waiting for the truck to get towed to a repair shop for further assessment for any additional damage as they tear it down.

Year and mileage are not listed, which will greatly impact value, which would in turn, greatly impact the decision if it is a total loss.
I see side curtain airbag in the rear dropped, those are very expensive.
Either way, they insurance is going to do what's best for them and you are not going to sway their decision unless it comes down to literal dollars. Only thing you may ask; IF it needs a frame, ask them to check availability, I have heard they can take many months to get.

Doesn't look like it's totaled, but if there's frame damage it's done.

Still holds lots of value, if they are estimating $11k, very likely they will pursue repairs if the frame is straight.

Rear wheel looks pretty straight. Frame likely fine. Just a bad fender bender. NOT totaled.
    How's the other vehicle?

That's a $40k plus truck all day being a pro, bro . Good luck with the outcome. If they don't total it, might as well put on the 2023 pro rear fenders.

That appraisal is not right IMO and on the low side. They usually do that and start with that on a payout then adjust as the repair shop gives them more information. Even if the frame is not bent I bet it goes upwards of $15k plus. That's my very unknowledgeable thoughts, lol.

How can we give you a reliable answer?
My guess would be not totalled from those pics.

The cab took a bashing on the bottom. Not easy to get it out. It takes lots of labor to make the cab corner right again. However, the damage shown does not look like the frame would be bent to me. The value is 3+ times what the initial Insurance payout is, so you have some room. Not sure what your deductible is but consider the repaint since you are getting much of it done with a better-quality paint since the white has so many pealing problems. Sorry about your misfortune.

No way to tell from those pics. That estimate is low, though. Fender, door, cab, bumper, running board, and at least one of the airbags all need replacement or repairs at the very least. There could also very easily be damage to the BSM sensor, wiring harness, suspension, wheel and axle components, bed and rails, and/or the frame. There could even be body damage underneath where the running board is mounted.

Pics of the frame and suspension components on the rear axle might help, along with a better image of the wheel and a shot from the rear to see if the bed/bumper shifted a bunch. Also, what happened could help. If you tipped it over in a ditch at 10 MPH that's a lot different than getting hit from the side by another vehicle. You've not provided enough info or good enough pics to get anything more than wild guesses at this point.

More important than all that, are you ok?

Unless they want to try and straighten the frame or replace the frame. Every state has different laws as far what can be done to make it 100%.
Many years ago I had a new ranger 4x4 loaded less then a month old didn’t even have the license plates yet and was blind sided bent the frame snapped the front wheel off and the insurance company wanted to replace the frame . I fought with op’s insurance company for almost a month and even contacted the State board of insurance and the law in that state at the time was they could fix it as they please if they wanted as long as it it was 100% like new . Again different states and different times the laws may vary. I remember them dragging it on to a flat bed I’ll never forget that sound. I also remember arriving with it at the ford dealer and after they dragged it off the flat bed over to the body shop. I told the body shop manager this thing is totaled he said no the insurance company will try and fix it. I told him no way and he pointed at this other wrecked car and said that car has been sitting there for months because the owner wants it totaled and the insurance company wants to fix it.
I replied cool then you can park mine right next to it . After a 2 or 3 week battle with the insurance company they finally totaled it.

Being that his airbags deployed and has cab damage makes it already an expensive repair.

    Bedside
    Cab
    rear passenger door
    airbags.

My loaded (now sold) 2023 OR premium was involved in a minor collision and it came out to 8k in damages. All they replaced was the front grille, bumper, fog lights, radar sensor, driver side headlight and fixed the driver's side fender. and labor / programming. OP's truck has substantial damage, if they find any frame damage looks like to Copart / IAA it goes.

Yes it also depends on the price for parts /labor and the estimated value of that particular vehicle so it’ll vary from car to car . And That’s were the insurance company’s adjuster will make the decision.

I attached 2 more pics. The rear driver side wheel is canted a bit.

I got hit making a u turn by a small 1987 dodge pick up truck. Possibly going 45-55 mph. The dodge was still drivable, but the front look smashed up.

My neck was sore for about 2 days.

Definitely get that checked out. Lots of injuries are hidden for a bit, and it's best to know sooner if you need to get anything lined out. I sincerely hope it's nothing and that you and the other driver are ok.

As for the pics, those still don't show a lot. A farther back shot of the rear of the truck (straight behind it to see bed/bumper/wheel alignment as though you were following your truck on the road) may give you some insight to what is out of place. Looking at the bed it definitely shifted. The alignment of the cover is jacked, and the bed caps are popped off. At the very least there is likely more bodywork, possibly damage to the bed, and worst case it could have torqued the frame. If the wheel is canted then the rear axle and anything attached to it need to be thoroughly checked out.

Was the truck drivable after the accident?

You would need a shot from the back and the side profile. Just on those two new pictures don't see damage to the frame. That rear right wheel does look like it's rubbing on the shock mount, meaning possible bent rear axle assembly. I would push for repairs at a Toyota dealership. My local dealer took care of my truck and fought progressive to replace all parts with brand new OEM replacements. Could not tell it was ever in a wreck, then the truck got hit again when grocery shopping a day after I got it back, I ended up selling it.

    Check build thread!
IMO- it's totaled. That's a LOT of bodywork to get straight. Axle looks off to me. Me thinks they're gonna try and fix it, then realize it's too far gone.
