    Hey guys,

I was power washing the mud from underneath my truck and i noticed that my flywheel is exposed. I did not see anything that seemed to be broken or torn off. But i just can't see toyota leaving it exposed like that.

    Thanks in advance!!

Yes. Your inspection cover is missing. Two 6mm bolts (10mm heads), about 20mm long, and a little metal cover.

There is a rubber cover missing, I replaced one on my '94. I am doing a little searching. I can't find it but take it back in ... warranty is a wonderful thing.

It's not rubber on second gens. It's metal with rubber edges. It could easily fall off, not a huge deal. Just get a new one from a scrapper or a dealer.

Now, now...let's not start the "Something's missing, must be a POS" talk. Take it in to the dealer and have it replaced. My '06 was missing the jack and tools when I purchased it new and I had 5 trouble free years with it until I traded up.

The derp master is correct! Let the dealer fix it, sounds like a manufacturing QC issue to me...
