I’d like to add a light to indicate Cruise in enabled. After connecting the required control stalk and wires to the computer some time back, the cruise works fine,.......... but it’s a guess if it’s on or not. The hold up was getting to the back of the “combination” panel. (Speedo/Tach)
If I get there, I can insert the wire that is standing by, and enable the existing factory indicator lamp to come on. I have already used a small LED to show that signal from the computer is there, seeking a ground that would be supplied back there. As a 2nd option, I could simply mount that small LED somewhere with a small hole drilled in the dash.
So the question is: how much stuff would I risk breaking to get behind the gages to hook up that wire to the correct terminal ? I am Mr. Damage-Control......... or worrywart.....
