This forum is one of the better ones I've ever been on. Certainly way better than Ranger5g forum.

I was a total American truck guy too, Ford Dodge Ford in my case. The Dodge was junk, the second F150 was great until close to 70k miles, then it sh!t the bed. If I could do it over I would’ve bought a Tacoma back in 2012 and kept it until I bought this one.

LOL same. I've bought more stuff for this truck in the three weeks I've owned it than on my civic of 9 years.

But first taco, 2nd toyota -> first car was a 1st gen tundra. In between that, I learned to drive a stick in my dad's '97 t100.

First Taco (love it) needed a truck and absolutely loved our three 4Runners beforehand. Not disappointed at all - truck has been awesome in the 2+ years I've owned it.

2011 TRD Sport was my first Taco. Had it for just shy of 8 years and regretted trading it in within just a few weeks.

I had a 2003 2WD Tundra, the model with the stepside, which I loved, but after a difficult winter a few years ago, wife was all about allowing me to get a 4WD. Didn't need Tundra size (new ones are much bigger than back then), the Taco was a natural choice. Love my '17 Sport.

My first Tacoma. Growing up pops had an old ass hilux. Had to be late 70's with a rainbow on the side and a bed decal that said "rainbow special" lol. Inherited my brothers 1987 Toyota 4x4. Both trucks lasted forever and that is why i went with a Toyota.

I did and did research on the tacoma. I think the altitude affect these trucks a lot.

    yea kinda strange to me.

I came from a hemi, power all day all over the place.

mid size v6 truck with 280hp~. Feels exactly how I expected it to..
If anything it feels better than I thought it would.
