The Taco was my first Toyota. Before that it was all Ford's or GM's. Except for the year prior to getting the Taco, I had a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. for some reason it kept going into limp mode and would stay in whatever gear I was in when it decided to do that. A few trips to the dealer and no resolutions, got rid of it got the Taco. No issues except for a few weeks ago the factory battery decided to die. That finally forced me to install the dual battery kit that has been sitting on a shelf for over a year.
Lots of money thrown into it otherwise. Lift, tires and 5.29's being the big 3 to date.

This happened at an Armor Conference here at Fort Knox a few years ago. My buddy's Tacoma, really happened, and that black truck is really that heavy.

This was a special armored version, on display, they were basically trying to sell the government on it.

    Ohh damn

I guess pulling something out of a ditch and towing it 500 + miles are a little bit different.

Recent convert from an 1997 80 Series Land Cruiser with 4.7L V8 Conversion. Had it 7 Years and loved every minute. Have a 200 Series and have had a 100 Series. .

I purchased the Tacoma as a specific platform for a camper build to replace the 80 Series. I'm really happy with the truck and so far it has exceeded my expectations.

    Cheers -

I was just sharing it because of the meme of a post right above it, I wasn't providing a testimonial, other than I was there.

First Toyota. I've always wanted one and finally decided to pull the trigger. Love the truck! But hate that I want to spend another $10k on it LOL.

First Toyota and first truck (that I can call my own). My family was a Nissan family growing up, so my dad had a variety of hardbodies, Frontiers, and an Xterra.

My first Tacoma, yes. My first Toyota pickup, no. I owned a 1980 2wd regular cab 4 speed manual in "banana" yellow from 1986 - 1997.

First Toyota coming from a 94 Ranger bought new. After driving it for 3yrs and 30,000 miles I'd say it's an OK truck. 75% happy with it.

1st Toyota ever. I’ve always been in a ford family & still currently have my 01 ranger that I bought new. Love that truck. But my 2019 Tacoma was a huge upgrade. I’ve worked for Nissan & Toyota so I’ve drove a lot of both brands of trucks. Toyota definitely has the better trucks & really vehicles in general. Got about 13k on my Tacoma & haven’t experience any of the taco complaints I read on here or the few customers that come in. The 3gens tacos are seriously the best looking small truck on the market!
