Family has always liked Toyotas (Landcruiser and 4runner), but this is my first one and I love every minute of it

Check your tweeter cover on top of dash panel. Many rattle up against the pillar.

Bought the daughter a used 2008 RAV4 many years ago for her first car and it has been great. Decided it was now time to have a truck in the family and pulled the trigger on a new 2018 Taco Pro. Just the right height (the wife drives it occasionally) and it hit the not to big (F150 or Tundra) but not to small (Old Subaru Brat) mark. Has been a great truck so far. Very happy with the purchase!

This is my first Taco and first new truck. Prior Toyotas have been a 12 Corolla, a 99 Camry, and a 76 Celica.

Man, I always wanted one of these. What ever reason I was always one vehicle away from owning a Tacoma. Well, 50..3 or so I think I was when I got this one. Is it all I built it up to be? Nope, what is, but I am figuring it out as I go and having a great time along the way.

I have had too many vehicles, AMC Hornet AMX, Buick Skylark, Dodge Colt, 79 Mustang, 81 Mustang, 86 Mustang GT, 89 Mustang, 2 84 Mustang SVO's, 82 Mustang GT, Buick Skyhawk, Ford Granada, Malibu Classic, Chrysler LeBaron Turbo, 78 Honda Civic, Chevy C2500 3/4 ton, Suzuki Samurai, Ford Explorer, 89 Toyota 4Runner, 05 Toyota Corolla. I am missing a few but you get the jest. Some were beaters, some were dream cars.

First Toyota was the 4Runner. It was a beater that the V6 and auto tranny were used in another vehicle. I bought the remains and stuffed a 22RE and manual into it. Drove it a couple years until I discovered frame rot, so I parted it out. Then came the Corolla. I really wanted a 1st Gen Tacoma. Just couldn't afford it at the time. Now I am happily driving my first Tacoma that I have had for almost 2 and half years and love it.

This is my first taco. Amazingly nice MT. I don’t think Toyota will sell me another one once I’ve thrashed this one driving it around the world.

First Toyota checking in - I'm happy for TW, as it's helped me weed out lesser products and mods. That, and I've met some pretty cool folks in my area through it too.

That said, I've spent a healthy amount - haven't broken into five figures yet, but it's close enough!

First Tacoma! I love this truck and I haven't been this obsessed with mods to a vehicle since I had a Eagle Talon AWD Turbo back in the 90's street racing days...lol

My first Toyota, and my first Tacoma. Love the truck, and very happy with the dealership I bought and service at.
Always heard good things about the Tacoma, until I started reading this forum!

Got my first Tacoma just a couple months ago. Been a goal of mine ever since my buddy got a brand new 2nd gen back in high school, but I couldn’t afford anything but cheapo vehicles until a few years ago when I started saving up.

I couldn’t be happier with the new rig. I’ve got a lot of plans but most of them I’ll have to wait until it warms up. I don’t have a garage and working on your vehicle at -20F is no fun!

Always wanted one, got a 2020 OR. First tacoma. Wife has camry, I've driven a few trucks but first ownership of one. Figure if I regret this one, or a truck in general, the best resale makes it the better "bad" decision, always wanted one, so why not? We'll see if 4th gen can convince me away :p

First Tacoma, not my first Toyota.

Only looking at 1st gen Toyota’s for a secondary/beater vehicle now.

First Tacoma and it’s been a blast so far. I’m an accountant and I never thought of off-roading before. As soon I got the truck and did light trails, I was hooked!
