Thank you for pointing this out. Its 2022 and Toyota has been using the Bilstein yellow junk OR damper forever, and sadly, they are still being mistaken for the "4600" which they are not.

Where did you find the TRD kit for around $1,000?

    A few.
Toyota is putting 1/2" lift blocks on the new trd pro and trail edition, so it sounds they are confident in small blocks offroad

I just checked at my local Dealership. They want $1793.75 for the lift kit, $2699.25 for installation for a total of $4,641.23. I found the Kit available for about $1400 online. I think if I get the TRD Lift kit I’ll buy it online and have my local repair shop do the installation.

Although 5100 are not marketed as extended travel they are - actually 5125 offer more travel at about the same price. I wish I had knew about them before I went with the 5100. The 5125 are aimed more at off road so I guess do not ride as well on road. Anyway I would - well I did - go with the 5100 for a 2" lift. I think you would get way more value with the 5100 (or 5125) than the TRD lift kit Toyota sells and a good shop can install them at a more reasonable price than a Toyota dealer that is if you don't do it yourself.
