    Truck is fine. No issues.

Havent had to change the TOB.

Changed my Tranny oil a couple times. Reason is i went on a couple long distance trips and wanted fresh oil. Yes i have used Synthetic.

    And the shit storm continues....

I was honestly curious about what people had to say about it. I have the automatic and I'm not real happy with it. Not saying it's not a good transmission, it just does more "thinking" than I really like.

I think both are good transmissions.

I just prefer the manual more...

As for reliability I have had 0 issues on mine and the 2005 MT's were supposedly really bad.

What you are hearing from me is frustration. I was going to buy an MT, actually tracked down ones I was interested in, took them for test drives.
They are much different than the ones from the 80s.
Plus with the ORD I get Atrac, open rear with an e-locker (wish it was an ARB/air-locker), open front with some f-ed up e-locker (better than none).
Yes, the auto is an odd beast, especially with the throttle by wire, and FI cutoff. Get an ultra gauge and watch fuel rate roll up and down.
Had a friend sell his cause he wanted to do the California roll through stop signs, and he couldn't break 16mpg cause he was either gas or brake.

Electricity and mud puddles can get along if you don't add rocks.
We have some very flat pointy rocks here that like to flip up when you drive on them. So I'm treading a fine line till I can buy some armor.

My only complaint is the reverse gear is too damn high. If you have to back up a really steep hill the clutch will smoke it's brains out. I will go with the URD Clutch/TOB when it comes time to replace. Changing the reverse gear would be way too expensive so I am hoping 4.56 ring and pinion will solve that issue.

Too developed around here, so mostly central PA.
Rauch Creek has a lot of diversity, and Shamokin is fun but the coal mud is nasty.
I also do some farm/country stuff in western pa, on private land.
There is also Doe Valley, and Rock Run that I have yet to explore.
