If they checked it in 3 hours, it wasn’t checked. It has to cooled and warmed to temp (which is much below operating temperature). I’ve done a drain and fill on multiple trucks and it’s fixed a lot of weird issues. Takes like 20 minutes if you do it yourself.

There is one group in particular, bicycle guys, that know the intimate details of gravity. Right @stun gun? Gravity bit me in the ass a bit Friday night. Thank God I used my body against the ground to scrub off some speed before I got to the rocks...

Just because a few people have had low or claim to have low fluid doesn’t mean you do. You’re the idiot that got paranoid and decided to pay them $100 to check the fluid. Don’t take it out on me, or the rest of the member here because of your own foolishness. If anything, the $100 should of atleast gave you a piece of mind. Obviously you had a pretty large concern considering that you were willing to spend a 3 hour drive, a half day at a dealership, and a $100 to have it check out.

 

This is another thread that makes me glad I have a dealer service department that kicks ass. They checked my TF level, no hassle, for free. They have gone out of their way on other ocassions to earn my repeat business and keep me happy. The horror stories I read on TW make me want to buy them a beer.

 

Pretty sure most of those stories are self inflicted lol.
