first of all.. why the dealership? Second.... try your local Oreilys or AutoZone. You are going to replace them yourself.?

I just replaced the pads/rotors on the front of my 06 Tacoma. When I called the parts department I asked them if they could match online prices for OEM parts. He said he could try and gave me a price of 130 per rotor and 100 for the pads. I went ahead and did it, even thought thye weren't as cheap as online, but by the time you factor in shipping/handling they were cheaper. I prefer to only put OEM brakes on my truck as I feel that thye last longer and dont squeak as much.

Wow, thats alot for pads. I was hopeing when the time comes I would get OEM. I might have to re-think if its that much. Although I love the fact they they don't put out alot of break dust. I hate break dust, and these pads seem to put out alot less then others.

They are more expensive, but I've never had a set of non-oem brakes last as long as the originals. I got 70k out of the original pads and probably had 10-15k more to go.

For your wallet's sake, assume the dealer is always ripping you off.

Wow...I paid $90 for both of my rotors and $30 for the pads at advance auto parts. I have always used wearever brand brake components on all my vehicles and never had any issues.

you might pay a little more for factory pads but in the end you will be much happier. commonly with an aftermarket pad you will experience noise. as far as the Rotors go, i personally would go with an aftermarket rotor, that's what I'm running on my truck, and I'm a dealership tech... so, my opinion is Factory pads and aftermarket rotors. you should be able to save enough on the rotors to get the factory pads anyways...
