    Doug Thorley Headers, Magnoflow 24' muffler, URD short shifter kit, Fox coilovers re-tuned with Total Chaos Upper control arms in front set at 2.5 inch lift, 10 inch Fox rear shocks with resi in back with custom bedcage , Full front and rear Fiberglass, Slotted Tundra rotors with green stuff brake pads, Steel braided brake lines all around, Ultragauge OBDII, Sliders, Front and rear tube bumpers.
    I say yes, I had it done to my 2.4 and I have it done to my 3.4, it frees up direct airflow to the filter and is smog legal. You really only have to worry about additional debri and water getting in the filter box with it open.

    No not really. More money for a fancy tube. You can do it if you like but make sure you get a box intake because any intake with a heat shield is not cold air.

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Take your air box out cut a 4" hole in the front "The side that sits behind the head light" Take a 4" deck plate and apply some censer safe silicone and screw it in place.

    It is a 1st gen mod. If you do it to a second gen you will make a hot air intake out of a perfectly good box.

    Whoever voted no is being dumb. The Deck Plate mod is probably the best CAI you can get for your monies. lol
