yes I know. Yes I have searched.

Just want some first hand reports. About to pull trigger but just want to make sure what I hear is accurate:

    Worth the price tag?
    Better than standard 5100s
    Ride better than stock?

What are the negatives? If any besides price

Any other thoughts and advice such as wish I went up a stage or got this done at that time. I want to hear it all

This should answer all your questions....
but yes better than stock on and off road.
In the video you can see the icons are stiffer than stock, therefore on the road you may feel more small bumps... I disconnected my anti-sway bar and felt a huge difference! Much more smooth!
Pull the trigger, go off-road, and I promise you will smile!
The truck will become smoother after the springs settle (5-10k miles).

Just look at the build thread
I've seen a lot of problems with newer Icon products. Seems their QA is going down the drain and they've started using inferior seals. I wouldn't buy their stuff for my rig until some of these issues are addressed. YMMV.

This might be an issue now that you mention it... bought my 2.5 standard travel coilovers used with fresh rebuild from Icon. 5k miles later I had ORW take the spacer out of them to make them ext travel. ORW said it would cost an extra 50 for new seals and to have them installed, since there were only 5k miles on them I said no... ORW called and said there was a slight leak in one so I got the seals replaced...

Any update on the quality of the icon seals? Really liking the stage 10 kit and for what it is I believe it’s the best kit for what I’m looking to do with the truck. The seal issue has me a bit concerned, hoping that there may be some newer voices to this with a better experience since this thread started 5 years ago.

Stage 8 here... no issues after 1 year and the ride is awesome both on and off road. Seems like the ride has got even better as the components break in. The only experience i've had with their customer service had been a few emails and they've always got back to me quick. Getting the whole set up as a package in my opinion is better than throwing things together from various companies.... seems it's designed well to work together as a unit from front to back. Added the protective coil wraps and shock boots... use Boeshield T-9 (less greasy and clear compared to Fluid Film) on the coils/shocks and leaf's. Rear leaf pack is at option 2. No complaints so far.... the truck rides and handles sooo much better.

I had an icon external reservoir kit on my 4Runner for quite some time. Forgot what stage, its been a while.

There’s a significant improvement in ride quality off and on road.
