So if the Pro actually is taller would the measurement from center of wheel to bottom of fender be 1 inch different?

Yes... But in many threads it's been measured and was the same .I even checked at the dealer on one they had.

So maybe it's like Toyota in general and there is no consistency in their build lol

That is true with consistency. We certainly can compare your OR if stock to my Son's 17 Pro that is completely stock.

But as stated, I don't off-road and didn't want Crawl or locking rear. In my opinion it is much harder to get the hood. I also don't want a hood that has been painted afterwards. So if I don't want Crawl or locking rear, why would I get an OR and go through the pain of a hood swap?
In the end, the bed sides would still be difficult and it would not have red sticking on the seats....
For non off-roaders, the sport is the way to go if you are trying to achieve the look of the pro. In the end the Sport won't have the same bed sides either (I actually don't like the indented TRD Pro logo, to hard to polish inside those letters)

But pro is short box like off road and if you ever wanted to resell it you can get more.

Besides better to have it and not need it. Than need it and not have it.

What is Short box? I have a 5ft bed in my Sport. In the end, a Pro is the only Pro, so the value thing won't really be effected. Also a vehicle with any non factory painted parts is worth less (especially trading it in)
If the OR was available with the Same hood, I would have bought it, but since it isn't- Sport was the way to go for what I am looking for. Mine is a road warrior, never going to need Crawl or locking rear...

oh ya forgot you can get the sport in a 5ft bed. Though it was only long box.

for what its worth Pro is a waste of money as the Fox suspension it comes with is not worth the inflated price of the Pro, and all the other stuff is just looks.

For its price it should at least have a front locker as well. Or some sort of better performance.
Besides each pro that has come out I love in pictures then hate it in person lol.
Cement loved, then saw it in person and realized how light it was and didn't care for it.
Same with the new blue. Seems they always look darker in photos then I see them in person and its much lighter. But thats just personal preference I like darker colours.

I paid less than a pro, put about the same amount into my OR as a pro would've cost me. My OR is a hell of a lot more capable than a stock pro is.

If the front is higher (as the specs state) that would make the back angle less, (passed the rear axle) hence the departure is reduced by about the same amount the front has gained.

Rubbish on the skid plate comment. It’s the bumper that hits first on an approach angle not the skid plate.

Back Shocks on. Now just have to wait until my friend can do the front and align it. From the factory my alignment looks a little strange. The top of the wheels bow out. It looks like there is way to much positive camber.

The instructions for the Pro suspension kit list alignment specs.
    Camber: 0°31' +/- 45' (0.52°+/- 0.75°)
    Caster: 2°8' +/- 45' (2.13°+/- 0.75°)
Cross camber and cross caster difference should be 30' (0.5°) or less.
    Standard Steering Axis Inclination: 11°56' +/- 45' (11.93°+/- 0.75°)
    Toe-in:C+D:0°05'+/-0°10' (0.083°+/- 0.159°) and B - A: 1.04 +/- 2mm (0.041 +/- 0.08 in.)
These numbers are all Greek to me... I guessing that this means 0 Camber, 2.9 Caster and toe in ?
I do mostly highway driving and don't want the truck to wander around. So my thoughts (I am probably wrong) are 0 Camber, 2.9+ Caster and Tow In 0. Any suggestion would be helpful.

I installed the Pro Fox shocks on my 17 OR and measured the front before and after installation. From the ground straight up through the center of the wheel and up to the bottom of the wheel well, the Pro Fox shocked raised my truck exactly one inch. I performed the same measurement in the rear and it remained the same. Just FYI, I have the DC w the 6 foot long bed. I’ve not actually measured a factory Pro vs. a factory OR on the dealer’s lot for height difference but based on my personal experience I can say w 100% certainty that the Pro Fox shocks raised my rig exactly one inch in the front. You can tell from the profile pic that my truck is still not quite level but it has less of a rake than a stock OR DCLB. I also have 265/75/16 KO2s.

That begs the question then. What is the stock TRD OR center fender height from ground compared to PRO in the front? Anybody have actual measurements that are accurate? My truck is lifted so I can’t say

So what is the pro front fender center from ground? Why does nobody post fender measurements?

Here is a picture of a 2019 I took at work. It looked taller next to a OR taco by a half inch. The price tag was stupid higher too
