People who have done this mod can you give me some insight on this. I have seen people raving about this mod but I’m just not totally sold. Can those 2 little speakers really make that much of a difference?

I have them in my Amazon cart and just reluctant to push the buy button!

If you like depth to your music, worth it. I was skeptical and took the plunge. Removed the tinny sound. $100 is a lot for speaker imo but its easy so that helped

Meh. Once you upgrade the door speaker that have tweeters, adding the tweeter was a noticeable difference, not night and day difference.
Bam wholesale.com had them shipped to your door for $80. That was a while ago, might have a better deal now with some sales

I actually did this mod tonight. I only tried it out for a few minutes afterwards but I was impressed with the difference.

Agreed that is different for everyone. My buddy has 19 OR and he says the sound system is complete trash.

Personally, i am totally fine with the stock speakers and i like my music loud. I have it at 50-55 when im by myself and i love it. I do listen to xm radio 99 percent of the time.

I know if you listen thru bluetooth is sounds shittier, with xm radio it sounds great imo.

Worth it. I couldn’t listen to any talk radio, the voices had no depth.

true. How you play music helps too, also dialing in your bass, treble and mids. Pandora (free version at least) has a poor sound quality. If I’m steaming I’m using YouTube music, good quality sound.

I replaced all the OEM speakers (kept the headunit). People have commented they like the sound.

My bass is 1 bar less than middle, otherwise i noticed it sounds like shit. Pretty sure my treble and mid is around there as well.

Entune system is a bit weak, so upgrading just the speakers wont make a huge difference imo. Dont get me wrong im not bashing it, works perfectly fine for me.

On the last note, i just would like to show off my start up pic :D

    Do all the speakers.
I went from the Sr5 stereo to the entune Premium with the kicker tweeters and speakers and it's much better sounding now.

I was detailing my truck yesterday listening to him in my driveway!!

I have my bass max, treble max, mids a notch below middle. Sweet spot is 22-23, really punchy clear sound. When I knock it up to 33, lose a little bass but treble holds well. Again with speaker upgrade with stock head unit. It surprises a lot of people who hear it. Not a head turner in any way but decent for a full truck upgrade for $180.
