I had this basic setup on my 08 and worked great for my needs.

It’s a great lift. I would recommend doing the ubolt flip mod while you are putting on the rear leafs. Knock them both out at the same time.

It increases ground clearance in the rear by taking the leaf spring ubolt plate and flipping it upside down. If you plan on off roading your taco at all, it makes a nice difference and is easy to do if you already are removing the ubolts in order to add a leaf spring.

I have toytec on my wife's 99 4runner and it's the boss resi shocks and coil overs that I love. I have bilstien 5100 on my 06 tacoma and yes I'm rough on things but I like my bilstien shocks to. I do blow shocks more than anyone I know.

Timbren is a great option, although there are a few other cheaper options out there.

I have had this lift kit for a few years now and I like it a lot.

Only complaint is that the coil overs are rusty as hell now.

Yeah, BILSTEIN shocks oxidize rather quick. :(
