Thanks for all the replies. I’m glad I did it then. Sounds like the truck drives better than prior to the update. Thank you again.

I don’t understand why it needs to learn anything on my MT, but I do notice that some of the benefits of the post TSB tune are starting to diminish. Then again, human senses are garbage, and placebo effect is real.

I have been driving a F150 for the last 4 days, and boy did they get that 10 speed correct, even on the V8.

That coyote V8 kicks in real nice in sport mode. It’s a really joy to drive. I almost want to switch to ford after a lifetime of Toyota autos.

I had the TSB awhile ago and mine is back to crap in D. Even S5, S6 is too shift happy on hills. Problem is it upshifts too quick and then can't handle a small hill. Just use ECT mode all the time and the truck feels good like a new V6 should. It should have been this way, with normal mode as "ECO" if desired. Mileage isn't even much different(<1MPG), and in some cases the same or better. If its mostly flat roads where the truck can lug 5th- 6th overdrives sure it will drop in ECT because the lower gears are held longer. In the hills its the same or better because it can't pull the overdrive gears and downshifts sometimes to 3rd where it could have stayed in 4th all along. Plus I can't help but think its a lot less wear and tear on the trans.

No reversion on mine and I'm about 8K miles beyond the TSB. Still a night and day difference. Truck accelerates like a bat out of hell since the TSB and the dead pedal is mostly gone.
