I cannot seem to find any .223 ammo for cheap out there in bulk to save my life. Ive been looking for the Tula or WPA wolf ammo but every single website seems to be out of it. Do any of you guys/gals know where i can get some? prefferably for less than $0.30 a round.

Steel case fine to just burn up just give gun good cleaning before you load any brass in it. Cabelas has federal tactical 55gr on sale cheap in ammo can. $169.00 i think per 500rds.

EVERYWHERE!!! that preorder thing is nice though. im going to have to jump on that, because by the time most people get ammo back in stock, theyll be shipping it out. Ive used steel case before and they shoot fine, but yeah just give the gun a good cleaning. im not looking to hunt, just want to run through some rounds at the range, so it needs to be cheap

Just enter what you're looking for and it will return the results based on cheapest per round. Lots of places are out... But it can still be found.

Don't want to thread jack - but have you had any experience with their AR-15's? I've been in the market for a while and can get a pretty good deal on one. Everything I've read has been positive, but I don't know anyone personally who's got one.

Just had a friend wait for 6 months on a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 because the supplier said they had them "in stock", wouldn't return his money, and just made him wait. I told him I would've called the bank or credit card company and gotten them involved to get the money back since the supplier misled him about having the gun in stock.

I don't know where you guys can't find ammo. I find everything I need where ever I go.

I order bulk from PSA, actually just got 200 rounds from them a couple weeks ago.

Ive heard they are all pretty much alike. One guy who worked at a local gun shop told me that there are only 3 main manufacturers of AR parts, and that they distribute them to bushmaster, Rock River, DPMS, ect. the only difference in that some refine the parts before they put them in the guns. Dont know if thats true or not but i took his word for it. But all AR parts are interchangable for the most part. So you could build your own if you wanted.

Not sure about how many parts manufacturers there are... but everything I've read about Palmetto is that they do a good job with them. I have no interest in building my own - especially since I have a relative who works in a gun shop and gets me good discounts. :D I'll probably be able to buy one for what it would cost to put one together.
