I feel like I read all of this and really didn't get a good answer. 2014 TRD Sport 43k, was planning on using Mobil 1 full syn in front and rear diff. So I can use this in the Tcase too?

The rear diff might benefit from 75W140. I got chatter accelerating out of corners in my old 2nd gen with 75W90 synth. It went away with 75W140. I now use it in the rear diffs of both my 3rd gen and my Subaru.

No shit? Interesting good to know I'm at 43k and haven't changed any of them yet but I also do mainly highway driving and only use 4wd in winter months.

I used amsoil severe gear oil in my transfer case, and differentials every 30k miles in my tundra. Never an issue during the 290k miles i owned the truck.

Interesting. I run 75w90 in all 3. What’s the rationale for 110 in the rear?

I tow a ton so I figured I'd run a bit heavier gear oil in the rear to protect from excess heat!

I used Redline in my Jeep's t-case and diffs. Seemed to perform very well for me, as shifts were smooth. I seem to remember being told back then (2009) that Redline performed better than a lot of other gear oils with the added heat of off road driving, too. I tend to believe it, because I never had any issues in the 130K miles I drove it. I used it in my Harley's primary, too. I have not thought about it in the Tacoma, yet. Something for me to think about...

Yeah that makes total sense let us know how it works out for you. I don’t toe a ton but I like to use the best I can for my truck.

I replaced the factory fill in the Transfer case about a month ago, 65,000 miles, with https://www.redlineoil.com/mt-lv-70w75w

I also replaced all the other lubes, including engine oil & filter, with various Amsoil products. I had originally replaced the transmission, and both diff's lubes at 5,000 miles, this is the first time I have done the transfer case lube.

I'm approaching 30K miles, and I have been thinking about what I should do with the diff's, MT, and T case. The manual says inspect the fluids (unless you are on the severe schedule), and that is just what I'm gonna do. Unless my mechanic tells me that the fluids are abnormally dirty, I'm just gonna keep driving. I always have all fluids checked every 5K.

If I ever get to the point where I need to change the T case fluid, I am definitely gonna use Toyota, even though it is a fricking rip off at $62./qt. I have enough trouble getting into 4 low without putting some out of spec fluid in there.

I like to go by the maintenance schedule as provided by Toyota. It's tempting to do stuff early and be pro-active, but on the other hand, you may incur unneeded costs and angst.

Hey everyone, I saw on Liqui Moly's website, they do offer an SAE 75W fluid
