Is there a chance the 2020 headlights will fit on a 2019?

I upgraded my actual light-bulbs to LED, but I just dont think the housing and reflectors are meant for a LED bulb. So I think there is a slight performance issue, especially with my hi-beams. But I heard the 2020 headlights are all LED, so obviously they are designed for peak performance using LED's. Kind of the reason I would consider the switch.

Anyone know anything about the inter-changeability?

From what I've read, the LED's on the 2020 will be an extra cost option except for the Pro. I don't think they have redesigned the sheet metal so it is likely the newer ones will fit on 2019 and older models but I've not seen any official data on that. I'm sure they will cost a pretty penny if purchased to install on older models.

I'm sure that the Toyota dealer would prefer to sell 2020 trucks vs 2020 headlights so it will be more like pretty dollars than pretty pennies for new headlights.

I'm willing to bet that once the truck is released, there will be plenty of knockoff opportunities.

I was going to invoke his name, but didn't want to put him on the spot, lol. As I originally typed it, I was going to say the same thing (Patience :))
