Hello, I'm still in the researching phase of purchasing a new tacoma, and I'm seeing that the factory lift is recommended by many reviewers, but im also seeing a "dealer installed" variant in places as well. Is there any difference, except one is installed before shipping and one is installed after? Are there any hardware differences?

    Thanks!

Be sure it’s the same kit.

You can get a really good aftermarket setup for close to the same cost. I was going to go dealer installed but they wouldn’t do it for a LB. I found a Bilstein 6112/5160 that should fill the bill for me.
Low Range Off-road had a hood Trail Pro setup.
