I've had my Tacoma Sport since late Nov 2018. I'm still getting used to parking the thing since I have moved from compact cars to this truck. This is the largest vehicle I've ever owned and I find myself about 2 feet away from a parking ballard.

Is there a front parking sensor on the thing?

Welcome! No, there isn't a front sensor for parking on the 2018 Sport. There is supposed to be an anti-pedestrian collision sensor, but I've never gotten close enough to pedestrians to test how functional it is...:burnrubber:

As far as stopping you from hitting a concrete bollard, it wont alert you that you're about to do that, unfortunately. But since youre new to larger vehicles I thought that I'd pass along a little pro tip I learned from years of required "safety" parking at work. - Its actually easier to back into a parking spot than to park nose-in, especially with trucks. You have a lot more maneuverability when the steering axle is last-in, first-out of the narrow confines of a parking spot: If the steering axle has a much bigger turning radius than the trailing(rear) axle, the front needs more room to swing than the rear.

My friends all thought I was odd for always backing into a parking spot, well actually they think Im odd for a lot of reasons... But I've slowly convinced them one by one, that its much easier to do once you get the hang of it. Bonus: you can use your rear sensors to get as close to the bollard as you like.
