if you have hids, what would you do to get them to change from bright to dim or from dim to bright? Don't think mine are changing so I was just wondering what I should do

OP, just keep doing what your doing and eventually the Po Po will impound your truck and you won't be a nuisance to everybody else.

Yeah - it's five years old but with all the hoopla about lights, lightbars and all the lights people (yes, I am a people) are hanging on their trucks it really does pay for one to know the laws of the State they are motoring in. For the OP - this is a very interesting puff piece meant to, I think, offer fair warning to the motoring public on SC headlight laws....

    http://chronicle.augusta.com/news-m...ght-violations-difficult-enforce-officers-say

In my State of Washington there is a good publication that near the bottom are some interesting tidbits about headlights/lighting....

    http://www.wsp.wa.gov/traveler/pasfaqs.htm

I think it is common sense (and probably statute in most States) that the only lights that can be turned on when on public roads are the headlights and possibly the lower driving lights but NOT things like lightbars, ditch lights, anything shining to the rear that is clear, rock lights and any manner of really cool bitchin' looking lights that so many of us have!!

Funny how much I hear bitching about hid kits. I'll take the hid's coming at me all day. Lately a lot of kids here run their led bars . Can't see shit when they come at ya.
Anyway. Back to the hid hate fest
