Is there a replacement hood for my 2011 that doesn't have the hood scoop?

I have to replace the hood on my 11, and I would to get one without the pho hood scoop. Is that an option? Would a hood from an older year model fit my 2011?

    Regards

Yes. Any hood from a 2005 to a 2011 will work.

Is there an after market configuration that utilizes the hood scoop? or is it purely ascetic?

Nothing actually wrong with my hood, it's in perfect working condition. I'm just salty that I bought a the truck with a hood scoop, thinking obviously it has a performance function. I'm probably an idiot for not realizing it until my first oil change, but i had a lot of stuff on my mind, so i forgive myself.

Now i feel like that guy driving around in a Chevy cavalier with a fake hood scoop and a ridiculously huge spoiler.

    Maybe we can trade?

Lots of folks would trade you their hood and pay money on top.

Wait for someone with the same color

I mean you could do what I did and cut/remove the backer stuffs from the scoop, it does seem to keep my under hood and intake temps down and I can see massive amounts of heat mirage pouring out of the now open scoop when stopped in traffic ot slow crawling in the trails.

There are not many functional hood scoops on production cars. The Subaru WRX is the only one I can think of.

Love my fake hood scoop. I don’t care its not functional. Don’t half the people do other types of mods to there trucks just because it looks good. Learn to love it
