My 2013 Double Cab Prerunner (automatic, 4.0v6) has the stock 16x7 inch wheels. I'm not sure if they are steel or alloy - steel I think. The tires are 245/75R16. I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is 6x5.5 or 6x139.7.

It's time for new tires so I'd like to get new black wheels too. I don't want to do all the science and math to calculate offset and backspace. And I'd rather not change the tire size if possible. I just want some cool looking, black, 16 inch, alloy wheels that will fit without modifying the tire size, width, speedometer reading, etc.... Is this possible? Has anyone done this? Or does everyone who gets new wheels have to get new tire sizes?

For example, all of the wheels I've found are 16x8. Won't I have to get a different tire size? Does anyone sell a factory-spec black alloy wheel (same bolt pattern, width, backspace, offset and whatever else)?

Best answer? If you dont want to do the math, have a trusted shop do it. They can look up wheels designed for your specific application. Most aftermarket 16" wheels are going to be an 8" width as opposed to the factory 7". You can still run the same tire sizes... Though i'd suggest moving up to a 265/70/16. Still a factory Tacoma tire size (on the TRDs), same overall diameter as the 245/75/16s (so speedometer wont be affected), wider for better traction, and it would look better than the 245s.
