I see several seat swaps but they all require welding or rail swaps or drilling new holes in the floor but what if I want to just get something that already fits?

am I limited to just finding a taco seat or can any Toyota seat say from a corolla or camry be a bolt in fit using the same mounting holes?

I have read that 4 Runner seats of the same year fit almost perfect with only having to drill 1 extra set of holes per rail, tho I have never found any yet. Other than that, I have not found any I would pay for to exchange.

3rd Gen 4Runner seats bolt in. If you saw my post then I would say that you "could" make brackets and use bolts/nuts instead of welding. It just depends how handy you are, but simple 2" angle iron and flat-bar could be made it work with a bolting method. For me it would take longer to drill holes and bolt together than to weld, so I welded. What I would not do is drill into the body or in some way mess with the integrity of the seat belt system.
