go to harbor freight tools or some where similar, and get the cheapest light kit/ trailer wireing harness the directions tell, the colors are universal

out of memory, yello/brown right tail/turn
    green/brown left tail/turn
    white, ground, always

I already have the replacement plug from wal-mart, but tried all day to get it wired right. I just need to know what each wire on the truck is...

I ended up having a friend run through the brake/turn signals..etc while I checked with a volt meter. Trailer brake is blue if I remember right. The colors didn't match for most of them. I had quicker luck with a meter than locating a wiring schematic.

Give me a couple hours. After class I'll snap a picture of my aftermarket 7 pin to the factory harness.

Sorry I forgot about it once I got home. The aftermarket connector I got from Walmart. It was a dual 7pin/4pin harness. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457562398.033375.jpg

    Go here

    https://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx

Great explanations. Scroll down about halfway and you will have pics that show what each pin does, then you can match the wire to it and connect to the vehicle side correct wire
