I haven't read this entire thread, but I have had both stock leafs and All-Pro leafs on three trucks, and the only squeak solution has been liberal usage of Tri-Flo every 2-3 weeks. Works great, and haven't found any other solution yet.

I'm getting the shop foreman to drive with me on Wednesday and squeaking leaf springs are one of the issues

Mine was very squeaky from about 7k-15k miles. However, one day it just cleared up on its own and has not come back. I'm currently sitting at about 18k miles on the odometer.

My leafs aren't squeaking, but something on my frame is. I think it could be my body/cab mount bushings. It only does it when it's cold, then it goes away. Oh well, it's a truck. I had a 2000 S10 prior to this Taco, and I'm already used to it.

I took my truck in today because of a slow leak in my passenger side front tire - I got a good deal on the tire warranty so wanted to make sure I took it to the dealer in case it was some bad tire damage. While it was there, I told them about my squeak. They checked it and said the leafs were dirty from off roading. They power washed them and said that fixed them. I figured that was what they were going to do, and my truck was already squeaking again by the time I got it home. It doesn't bother me that bad so I am just going to write it off because I really like my truck. The worse part is they said that they couldn't find any leak. I hope they are right, but I bet I will be back in next week with my slow leak.

The more people that "write it off" and deal with it means the more Toyota and other companies will make this the norm. No thanks, fix it or take the vehicle and I will go find something else. Mine was fixed by replacing the leaf springs and then I was told that at some point a TSB would be posted to get them replaced again with ones not prone to squeaking. How in the hell can someone pay 30-40 grand for a vehicle and think it's ok for these things to happen? Hold them responsible for their shitty design or you are going to end up with more vehicles coming out like this. You have no one else to blame other than yourself at that point. I don't have the time to constantly be taking my truck in either, but I did it and filed a complaint each time that I had to deal with the squeaking.

I hear you, but I don't have the time or patience to keep taking it in when I already know they won't be able to fix it. When they have the fix that works ready, I'll take it in. In the meantime, and I don't mean this to be rude, I will just enjoy my truck for what it is because I really like it. Now, the slow leak is another matter, as that will affect my enjoyment.

I opened a case with corporate on my 16. My right front suspension was sqeaking badly earlier this spring, they fixed it turned out to be a bad bushing. Started making the noise again, took it in they are saying might need a new strut.

Im trying to get a 100k bumper to bumper warranty from corporate

Wht kind of squeak are you guys getting. Mine sounds like its only the driver side, and it only squeaks over harsh bumps. I have to be going over a bumpy patchy road. When i drive slowly over the big ass speed bumps at the entrance to my workplace i hear nothing. It seems like its not the springs flexing that is making the noise.

Makes sense. Whenever my squeaking comes back I will take it to the dealer. My break pedal started squeaking last week but have yet to do anything with it.

Squeaking at the top? Mine's done this since about 2k miles, dealership told me it was a feature of the off-road brake system. Hopefully the next dealership resolves, it is incredibly annoying.

Mine are squeaking. Go figure, I actually take my TRD Off Road ... OFF ROAD. I also live on a dusty ass gravel road.

I think at the top, I haven't actually taken the time to look. It started around 2K as well right as I was driving down a long canyon road leaving Seqouia NP. It is only really noticeable when I do any hard braking. If I take out the slack slowly before really applying the brake I don't hear it

Brought mine in to have the front left bushing replaced on Saturday, it was doing all that squeaky crap. Guy said it was pretty worn out and they've have quite a few people coming in about it. As long as it all happens while its under warranty it's not too big of an issue...oh and I only have a little over 8k miles. Just the tip...

Here's what I do to my 2nd gen:
    Once a month:

Jack rear of truck up outside. Place on jack stands. Take both rear rims+tires OFF. Take a garden hose (NOT A PRESSURE WASHER....IT CAN AND WILL CUT THROUGH BRAKE LINES... and spray out in between the leaf springs and perches.. spray really good... then blast out with compressed air or let air dry... then lube em up with some white lithium grease.. quiet :)

    Way to much...but not enough.
I go in Friday to have the leaf springs replaced by the dealership. I complained about last week so we shall see what happens Friday. That squeak is intense, i park in parking garage at work and I'm sure the entire garage can hear me pulling in.

Mine is going in Monday for the leaf springs. No other issues. I have drooped the suspension fully and cleaned with a pressure washer. It went away for a couple days but came back worse than before. I'm wondering if grit got in the the bolt area in the front and rear of the springs. I've taken mine off-road a few times. Unfortunately it didn't start till right after I dropped it off for the 5000 mile service. Looks to be a problem that plagues even aftermarket ones. I'll report back with what they say.
