Like the title says, I personally own a 4x2 and would like to see mods other guys like me have done to their trucks. It's not a 4x4 but we can still have some fun. New to the site so apologies in advance if this is a dumb question!

A lot of the mods you should still be able to do.

This place is a wealth of information. Dig through some threads, or search for whatever ya want

Yeah, I just could not afford the 4x4 at the time.. I'd love one but that will have to wait for the future. Not in to street trucks at all, I would just like some fun offroad mods thatll get me to a nice camping site or fishing hole, not any kind of trail driving. I'll look around, love the site so far!

all good i'm messing with you. seriously tho, 4x2 questions for offroading all the time in the regular forums. you can setup your 4x2 to be insanely capable if you plan well and use it wisely. don't hesitate to post up in the regular forums.

The only time I've had any issues with mine was when I got into some quicksand in Colorado, but the 4x4s that came in to save me got stuck way before I did. Tires make a huge difference. Know your limits.

That's kind of how I felt when deciding between a 4x4 and 4x2 here. Bought the truck outright. I love camping and fishing but I wasn't huge on true offroading. Now that I have it I have the urge but feel I can do a few fun upgrades and still go off the beaten path without a 4x4. Glad to see other guys are out there like me.

Sliders and skid plates. Rear steel bumper, cause that plastic one is going to get broken at some point.

This is already a 4x2 forum lol.

90% of the people here with 4x4 never use it, as evidenced by the threads about engaging 4wd once or twice a year just to keep things lubed and moving.
