Surprised nobody mentioned a hot babe in the passenger seat as standard accessory...

Hot babes cost too much and require tons of maintenance. Two average chicks are a better value

The absolutely please make it happens:

    1. Redesign the clutch pedal. It’s at an awkward angle that makes your foot rise up it when you are on and off the clutch a lot. For someone with a size 12 shoe, this makes me catch my toe on the bracket for the brake pedal. For this most part I’ve gotten used to this, but when it’s wet outside it happens way too easy. This is by far the most annoying thing about this truck

    2. Put reverse on the other side of 5 or 6. It’s too easy to accidentally put it in reverse when you are trying to go from neutral to first

    3. The ability to raise/tilt the steering wheel higher. I can’t think of a car I’ve driven in the last few years that doesn’t let it go higher than the Tacoma

    4. Premium package without the sunroof

    The would be nice:

    5. Re-gear: Tame the reverse gear and make it a bit wider between 5th and 6th. This could help the MT be a bit closer to the AT in terms of MPG

    6. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto

    7. Power tail gate lock

    8. Power seats

    9. Larger fuel tank

I'm curious how the head unit will be redesigned to accommodate Android Auto now that Toyota has decided to implement it in all their vehicles from now on.

I wish I could get the "rear seat delete" on the 2019 SR, Access Cab with the V6. :( Guess that would hurt Toyota's pocket book.

I agree with you on the Cruise Control and gradual acceleration. I just drove from New Orleans, through Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Maryland. Overall I was pretty happy with the way the truck performed, however, I could have got better gas mileage especially through the higher elevation if my truck didn't try to do a Mario Andretti imitation, every time it had to maintain a cruise control speed of 72 mph. My general rule of thumb is keep it below 2000 rpm, there were instances where that thing climbed at 4700 rpm for no reason. I was testing it, so I just let it drink my gas for a moment. Good point though.

I love my truck, but for a sticker that said $42,700...
    • I'm 5'11" with a Sunroof on the Off Road package, If I was literally 2" taller I sadly would have probably had to compromise and get a Tundra because I want more headroom. The first couple of weeks I had to train my body on how to get in and out of the truck without feeling I'm going to hit my head.
    • Entune sucks. Too many safety restrictions, I used to ask Siri to do everything in my older vehicle with Car Play. It was seamless. I wish Entune would at least add more apps like say Spotify for better music control. However, ditching for Apple Car Play/Android Auto would be ideal. You know they actually make decks with both formats on board, you don't even have to choose your phone based on capability.
    • Transmission I can live with, but the biggest necessary change would be to the way the Cruise Control goes to full throttle to resume to a previously set speed. When I am on a road trip, I just like to set my cruise can never touch the brake or accelerator. I lost points every time I had to resume to set speed, because the transmission floored it to recover the set speed. In higher elevations, that meant I was accelerating at 4700 rpm in some spaces. That is ridiculous, cabin noise and gas consumption to get from 65 to 72 mph?
    • Remote start. For the 2017 OR, mine was as loaded as you could get. I feel like in a fully loaded tech package, remote start isn't a lot to ask.
    • I wish Touch Keyless Entry unlocked more than the drivers door, since when I have say hands for of grocery bags, they are being stowed in my backseat area. That is nitpick stuff though.

Did you mean that you would like each door to have the touch sensor, or wish the touch sensor on driver door opened every door?

Sadly, keeping it European parking garage compliant.
