Mine is an Off Road, lol. I think that Off Road and Pro automatic is the only ones that don't have the compartment.

Did they take out of the automatic headlights in the later models then? My 2016 TRD Off Road has auto headlights...

These were probably mentioned but I would've liked better center console knobs for audio and etc., automatic headlights when wipers are on, and auto start for manual transmission.

Canada, built in Texas, I don't see why they'd swap out a light stalk just because I'm in Canada but I guess you never know considering the shape of the fog light bezels is totally different here vs USA... among other things, lol

That would be a killer mod. Probably a costly challenge though?

That's not auto head lights. Auto head light for example you go through a tunnel and the lights turn on automatically. If youj have a sun sensor on the upper right of the dash you have auto head lights

He's referencing full auto headlights. The kind where you never touch the headlight stalk. Bright outside, no headlights, dark, they come on.

In Canada there's a law that all car manufacturers must equip their cars with either auto and DRLs. It's deffinatly why you have auto lights and we do not.

Same for the parking lights also. Easily one of my favorite features of the Taco.

I was not sure if I would like the Automatic Headlights in my truck at first, but I ended up really liking them turning themselves on and off.

Exactly. I didn't like the auto lights that we had in previous cars. The way they are set up on the Taco (non-tech / non-prem) is my favorite ever. No worry about forgetting them, no worry about driving around at night with just DRLs on since the instruments are not backlit with the lights off, and it works in every setting.

I can see your point, but someone put a go pro mount there and did not have the forethought to include a USB power outlet.

The outlet would also be useful for Radar detector etc.

Totally agree. Dashcams would be #1 for me because then I wouldn't have had to run a cable from the fuse block up the A-pillar and across the headliner.

Vinyl flooring, Roll down or at least vented access cab windows and a better driveline configuration would be at the top of my list
