I did some more playing around with color and font styles. I also worked on a alternate side with some concepts that people were tossing around...more to come later.
Please drop some suggestions for text or icons to go around the outside for the alternative one I've started.

I think I have a solution to the multi gen thing. As I was thinking about this, I thought of the frame. The back of the coin could have a frame, with the first part being all nice and new looking (3rd Gen), middle with some rust spots (2nd gen) and the back with holes in it (1st Gen)

thanks I could not read the est 2006.

like the 2 on the left, 2 in the middle are nice, not a fan of the one on the right.

may I ask why red is the only color you are using? I think neutral works best, like sticking to the black gray thing you have going.

I just think picking one specific bold color like red, blue, green, or whatever is pointing towards "THIS COLOR IS TACOMA COLOR ERMAHGERD" so neutral is my suggestion.

Just because those are the colors used on the TW banner. Any colors could be used really, I do like the look of just the metal the coin will be in as well.
