    I wanted to work on it myself, save the hassle on labor n money. Yeah, I know insurance would cover it but I just wanted to learn more about my own truck since I touch other cars besides my truck

    if you carry a high deductible you can save yourself the deductible, hit on carfax, and insurance rate hike.

    I had something very similar. Bent steering knuckle was the issue for me. Replaced it got the truck aligned and was ready to rock

    got this same issue, some girl ran a stop sign yesterday and ran straight into my driver's side front wheel. fender is dented and some scrapes on wheel. also some damage to the bumper cover. took a quick look at it and looks like a bent steering knuckle to me. hopefully, it's that simple. steering wheel is like 45 degrees off center but drove fine somehow...PCS is freaking out.

    I use finger gap between knuckle and tire as a metric to measure if a knuckle is bent. Compare to known good. Done
