I assume the “market value selling price” is the MSRP.

I would shoot for a firm 13% discount ($6,394.57) or walk away.

I don’t think that’s MSRP, its the dealer BS where they tell you you’re being screwed to yourself face.

I sold Toyotas years ago and as a rule of thumb in California if you could get at or below MSRP price out the door (tax, title, license, fees) you were doing pretty good. In california that usually means you got the truck/car for dealer invoice minus any holdbacks. Also, if you are a recent college grad (associates, bachelors, masters, or whatever) that graduated within the last 2 years you get an additional $500 rebate on top of whatever deal you worked out. Also, 0% for 60 months is somewhat rare on tacomas. they usually only do the 0% for 60 months on hard to sell models. and 0% saves you a ton of money on a $40k loan. I used to only see 0% on tacomas very rarely and it would be at the end of the year when we didn't have any left in stock so it was more of a bait and switch tactic trying to get people in the door and we would try to switch them to the next year model. I just bought one myself with the 0% for 60 mo and $1300 back of invoice. Which ended up being a few hundred under MSRP out the door. This is in california so fees depend on where you live.

Do you have a link for the dealer website for this truck? Should be listed on the site, they have to list MSRP on all vehicles.

Well that's what I thought too but they also strike through it.... Not sure if it's a marketing thing or what but it's rather misleading, that's why i wasn't sure.

Just a sales technique. They mark it up to give you a larger discount. So their is 1500 cash off on the 19s so the dealer gets that on the back end. So their 10% discount is including the 1500 off. Tell them you want at minimum 10% off before the incentive, which would be 43,900 - 1500 = 42,400. This would still be just an OK deal. I got 15% off my white 19 Pro in October. But every sale is different, the dealer had 10 Pros and needed them gone so they discounted them heavily. The longer the trucks sit the more fees the dealer pays, so they are more inclined to make a deal and move it off the lot. Remember though, they have to sell the truck, you don’t have to buy it.

Paid 45.5 + ttt back when the 19's came out at 2% apr. I'd say you're getting a good deal.

If it was me personally I'd go for the 2020. Or maybe wait a little until the price goes down. That 19 you linked us to is market adjustment. That is not MSRP. They did that to make it look like you are getting a deal. Just build a tacoma on Toyota's website and you will get the MSRP. You can find 2020s less than that. Go to autotrader.com or similar websites.

My advice: You are already paying 43K Min for the truck, might as well get exactly what you want. If you like the wheels, headlights, power seats etc on the 2020's and think you are gonna regret not having them then just get the 2020. If you are actually concerned about saving money then just get the Off-road.
