Yea i'm gonna wait for the 2020. The 19' has a good deal on it with the incentives but its ultimately not what I want and I'll always have FOMO.

Now I just gotta get a good deal on the 2020!

How does it work if you build one? I'm assuming it would be more expensive than just going through the dealer no?

Find a dealer with 2020 Pro, walk in on January 1st or 2nd (end of the month and year for dealers), get a sweet deal, enjoy!

Depends on the dealer. Some will sell at MSRP, some will mark it up, and very few will discount.

Chances are better if you find one there at the dealer and talk down the price.

There are national and regional incentives offered by Toyota Financial Services. As far as subvented (special rates) for Tacoma's is rare and they almost always exclude the Pro models. To get 1.9 or 0% on a Pro is unheard of or has been for the last few years. These are very aggressive rates and I would jump on it even if its the 2019.

I mean to just spec one out and get the options you want so you have an idea what the msrp would be without market adjustment before you go to the dealership.

A few people have commented saying they just got a 2020 with either 0.9% or 1.9% which means they are either lying or it's not that uncommon haha

Either way i'll just wait. If I have to way a few months I'm fine waiting.

If it's the truck you want buy it. When you hem & haw with in-decision someone else will make your decision for you. When I bought my 2019 at the end of August. I was selling my 2011 and was watching from afar the one truck I wanted for about a month. When my 2011 sold, I went into the Dealership that day and sat down with my friend to do a deal. One of the other salesmen had someone serious looking at the same truck earlier in the day and wanted the evening to think about it. His thinking about it made it possible for me to buy the last manual on the lot and the last silver one in Canada. The next morning there was a sold sign on the truck he wanted.

Whichever way you go, you are going to get a very nice truck. The 2020's will be a year old in 6 months and you will always be chasing the next model year. Build and individualize your new truck with the mods and upgrades and you will be very happy and proud of it no matter what the year.

Not that it matters much, but the financing could very well be 0.9% financing. Its not uncommon, very attractive of course.

I just sat in a 2020 Pro while waiting for my rental. I really liked the adjustable seat, new head unit and matte black wheels. Can't say that about scooped hood, which adds 2"-3" of unnecessary obstruction. I am sooo glad I didn't go for it.

That vision blocking hood scoop is probably why Toyota installed the front and side cameras as standard equipment for 2020 on the Pro. It’s impossible to see over while driving off road. I will be installing a Germes Lab controller and front camera on my ‘19 very soon.

I work with Toyota Financial Services in the New England Region and 0.9% or 1.9% has not been available for the 2020 Tacomas but that's not to say it isn't in a different region. Usually these special incentives are for vehicles that are not moving very well to help drive some sales and demand and compete with other manufacturers. Tacomas in general sell well and in New England already have a high demand and don't need the extra incentives to move. My advice is if you see 0.9 or 1.9 on a 2020 Tacoma jump on it!

If you will take the entire length of loan (or majority of it) then go with the 0% interest. You will save money in the long run.

First time poster here, and it looks like you already made up your mind but if it at all helps, I picked up a 2019 pro for $43.5 at 0% here in TX. msrp of $48.5. They also offered the truck at $42 at 2.9%

$5k off MSRP on 2019 Pro’s seems to be market correct right now. Should be a greater discount come January as dealers do not want ANY 2019’s sitting on the lot.
