Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Sounds good to me, but all the V6 guys are going to tell you to get a V6 I bet! I love my 4 banger, I am sure you will like it if you get it.

    This was my deal:
    2012 Double Cab PreRunner
    SR5 pkg, 2.7L, Carpeted mats, 16" Wheels
    24,700 out the door.

this was back in Nov. though

    I've had both the v6 & now I have the 2.7L.
There is a noticable difference in the power/pickup but it really comes down to how you'll be using the truck...

I got an 09' brand new Double Cab Short Box V6 TRD Sport 2wd for $28k plus ttl. So $23k sounds good, but considering only $5k more gets you the wheel, shocks, tires, interior, features, and more... I'd say go big or go home IMO. $5k is like $50-100 a month depending on how you finance. And insurance is still cheap cause its just as safe :D I'm sure your looking at a 4 banger for a reason though and maybe you don't need or care about the extras, I'm not bashing on your selection, just trying to help put some perspective on pricing for you. Good luck and Congrats!

Funny, my wife told me to just to get the Tundra crew max.
I have always wanted Tacoma, but I really don’t need a truck. I should get ahybrid and call it good. But, I test drove both the 6 & 4 cyl. Pep is good in the 6 but I’mnot in that big of a hurry & the 4 will be fine, each is to their own. I’mnot a big fan of the wheels that come on the Tacoma’s, so I will shop aroundand get aftermarkets. Oh, no financing Im not a big fan of car payments.
