Is this a good deal?

Hey guys I'm currently in the market for a 4x4 and came across this

What do you guys think? Is the price decent if everything he says is true? Did Toyota even make a 3.0 liter engine?
I currently drive a 2nd gen xrunner so don't really know anything about the 1st gens

any help is greatly appreciated what i should look for when i go and check it out

 

Toyota made a lot of 3 liter engines. Their nickname is the three point slow. Ive never had one so no personal experience, but not exactly a powerhouse. The asking price is 2-3 times nada,so if you love it youre looking at paying cash.

Well I guess after seeing these comments I'll definitely pass on it unless the price goes way down

 

can always make an offer. for all the new parts on it if def worth more than an all original.

but make sure what ever new motor is in there came from a reputable place and there is a warranty

 

At 11K, its sounds to me like he dropped way too much into it and is trying to get out of it what he put into it. Probably a 7-8K max truck overall depending on how bad you want it

 

I dont think I have ever seen a back bumper on a pre-95 Toyota pickup? They are usually rotted off. It def looks to be a clean truck.

He is asking way too much.

Ok thanks for the info guys. I supposed to go meet the guy on Monday so I'll get a lot more info on it and check it all out and see what I think
