Prices must be a little higher in your area. I wouldn't offer them more than $32.5 for that truck in my area.

In Texas many dealers want to say "aggressively priced". That may be so and here is my aggressive offer take it or leave it. Found my 2016 silver TRD 4x4 loaded for 16K miles $25k. Tell them that's not your problem and you will spend X amount. Walked out and they called me back! Yea that's what I thought so.

Whenever you buy a used vehicle from a dealers lot expect to pay at the upper end of the price spread. They took the thing in on trade, put some service work into it and of course want to sell it a coupe thousand more than the trade in price and cost of making it showroom ready. If you're getting an extended warranty or some other perk, it might be worthwhile. As I posted earlier, it's not a terrible price. Consider though, it is a used 2018 and usually the low mileage is a good thing, but I'd be thinking did some dude trade this in because it's a lemon? Me, since it's so close to new pricing, I'd go new and not have to worry about all that.

That is where I got mine as well. I dealt with the internet sales staff and it was a very seamless process from start to finish. It helped that I had my financing thru USAA already squared away, so if you go cash in hand or financing in hand it will go much faster.

I paid $34,400k for my brand new TRD OR with tech package. It had 19 miles, and 12 of those were my test drive.

Go through Costco and buy a new one. You’ll pay less than invoice. Looks like invoice for a 2019 TRD OR with tech is about $35k.

This one has premium, which is a lot more than tech, and in my experience way less haggle room. Dealers were dropping prices over the phone for tacomas without premium, and all but one were adding market adjustments for ones with premium.

No offense, but the seats on tacomas are butt ugly without the leather. I think the dealerships figured that out and know they have you by the short hairs as soon as you mention premium.

You are missing the fact that we said Tech & PREMIUM pkgs.

    Too few to list.
At any time, there's no winning on trade-ins that's why the KBB value is never accurate because dealer use wholesale values for trade-ins. From the many vehicles I bought over the years and speaking to multiple sales people, dealers typically want to make 20 percent on any trade they take. Wouldn't surprise me if they took this truck at $30K or less.

At 5k miles, the first carwash isn't even broken in on a Taco. It's a fair deal. Negotiating is tough because it's a Toyota. Haggling is even tougher because it's a TRD Taco. They do not stay on the lot long. You are very smart to consider Pre-owned. As you can see, you've already chopped off $6,000.00 because you waited a few months and a little to pull the trigger. BUY IT... BEFORE ANOTHER LUCKY BASTARD DOES!!!

Agreed, it’s pretty much a new truck. But you know what they say about values once it’s been driven off the lot.......
I don’t know what new truck prices are like in Arizona but i’d bet sales tax and other fees would bring this “slightly used truck” up close to $40k anyway?
Some dealers will bring in vehicles from out of state so i’d shop around and/or make a low ball offer on this truck and see what they come back at.
