Tires that are half worn will need to be replaced (all other conditions the same) twice as quickly as a new set of tires. There are transaction costs (and risks) associated with this, to wit: Mounting and balancing, and the potential for your tpms sensors / wheels to get damaged.

Does not sound like a good deal to me. It will cost you another $60-$80 to get them installed so your looking at just under $400 for tires that will likely need to be replaced in 20k miles or less. You could also run into balancing issues or other problems.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. The 18,500 miles was like...

Craigslist is the equivalent of an online garage sale. In theory, half life would equal half cost BUT no one knows how the tires were driven on.

OP- I’m sure someone would buy them for that price but not sure how long it would take. Honestly, I’d price them at about $200 just to get rid of them. Also I’d feel less like I might be ripping someone off at that price.

As long as you and the buyer are good with the price then that’s all that really matters.

I don't know about those Nitto's, but BFG's I've had in the past, the performance drops SIGNIFICANTLY after 50-60% treadwear.

I run the Terra Grapplers on my truck in a LT 285/75/16 and in 149k miles only used 2 sets of them.

I'm sure the P's don't last that long though.

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't buy used tires. Too many unknowns besides just looking at the tread.
