    Thanks! I shopped around and probably could have gotten it a tad bit lower but I really hate doing the back and forth thing with dealers and brokers. I tried to stay at 30k but only found the tacoma with entune premium/nav and tint so I thought 30.9 would work

    Update. the dealer just emailed me a new price to beat the broker Same truck/terms for 30283.33. He beat a broker by 633.00 so I went with the dealer and cancelled the brokers order. Don't think he was happy

    Wow I still cant believe how much Tacomas are now days. I just sold my 05 for 16k and bought new for 26. So ten years only cost 1000.00 a year. They hold value for sure!

    Canada=More $ than U.S. Prices aren't comparable.

    OP, for your sanity it isn't worth it to ask if you got a good deal after you have purchased the vehicle. Someone will have always paid less. The question is, "Are you happy with the price you paid?" That is all that matters.

    People throwing out prices is pointless. Base what you spent on how much over invoice you paid. Not what someone else in a different area with different options and different taxes paid.

    You missed the point. You can't compare prices with others unless they have the exact same trim, options, tax rates etc. How much did YOU pay over invoice?

    You need to compare apples to apples. He's pretty much saying that you might think you got a good deal if are to compare the price you paid to say someone in a large metro area (they tend to pay more for everything) where as you may have actually overpaid. See what I'm saying. If a dude paid $30K in LA or NY, and you paid $30K in lower cost of living area (iowa, etc) for the exact same truck, who do you think got the better deal?

    Dont sweat it man, I was the same way when I bought my truck ( I wanted to know if I got a good deal too, I got an average deal for what its worth). At the end of the day, give or take a thousand here or there doesnt really matter a few years down the line, and from my reading of this forum most people pay fair value for their trucks.
