    My '06 has the original frame: mine started looking like yours in 2009: sanded the areas/used eastwood products to paint the areas and Fluid Film it every year since then. No further rust. Be sure to get the 360 degree spray wand extension to get up inside the frame when spraying the fluid film (past the catalytic converters/boxed frame that surrounds the engine).
