Is this frame rust rot? Or rocks?

    I don't know what I'm looking at here. Is this the metal rotting in between the two frame metal pieces? Or is this just a bunch of crap that has made its way in between the metal?

    That’s where they rot. Wire brush and spray something on it

    Yup, exactly.

    This is a frame that should fail inspection/qualify for replacement, while still sitting in the service drive.

    Maybe, it depends on the year.
    I think OP may have an 07’?

    If so, it’s likely not still covered under warranty.
    I’d call the dealership and ask.

    Agreed on calling and asking, worst they'll say is no. And like pappy used to say "The answer is always no, to questions you don't ask."
