I have a 2022 Pro. The attached photo is a caption from the front camera. As you can see there is a large "V" area darkened out in the top center of the forward view. My other vehicles do not have a camera obstruction like this. Is this normal? And if it is, what is the purpose of the obstruction?

    Thanks everyone!

Pretty sure that is normal. I think the logic is to make it obnoxious/impossible to drive while only using the camera

Is that a factory camera, or an aftermarket?

Same view as my 22 TRDOR. camera goes off at about 8 mph. If you hit the auto button, the front camera will come on when you slow to about 8mph.

It’s Toyota’s idea of a safety feature. If I had it my OCD would be off the charts!
