    Need a little info regarding front coil spring selection. My truck is a 2012 Tacoma Prerunner that I am restoring. What I'm trying to achieve is a level ride height of about 1 1/2" - 2" or whatever is needed for proper clearance over my tastefully oversized 265/75/r16 off-road tires. Looking for solid but comfortable road preformance.

    SO this is what I have put together so far regarding the suspension. I have a new set of 0 miles TRD 4X4 rear leaf springs, a set of FRT adjustable Bilstine 5100s. So I am down to the front coil springs.

    I have decided to go with new OEM offerings and am narrowed them down to either;

    New Stock OE; 48131-04710 and 48131-04710

    Or New TRD; 48131-04A90 and 48131-04B00

    The stock OE, will be, well stock height with the exception of the adjustability of the 5100s. I have heard that the 2016 year forward years add around 1 1/2" ride height due to spring redesign etc.

    So question is, would I benefit from the TRD offerings over the stock OEs for my purpose? I have heard that the TRDs offer better on-road handling without being harsh. Is there a detailed reference to the poundage of these OEM springs? Please chime in, as I am at a standstill due to a lack of information.
