    lots of those "performance mods" are a resistor to fool your ecu.

    I've thought about mass producing little wood wedges that would fit under the gas pedal and stop it from being depressed more than 50% of the way. Market as getting 20% better gas mileage and make millions.

    So many idiots would buy them especially if I used really weird hi-tech looking packaging :D Maybe I would even plasti-dip them black. I mean that's another 10% HP so they're saving fuel with more HP.

    Pretty much anything you see that adds HP AND fuel economy has a very high risk of being snake oil...... It takes fuel to make horsepower.
