Do you really need or want a drop bracket lift that is going to require cutting the front cross member out?
What are you plans of use for this truck?

No, it requires cutting the cross member which is hard to reverse and is restrictive for off roading.

To some people it even lowers the resale value.

It is a lift that requires major frame modifications to complete. Rough Country has been a round for a while. Decent enough product. Don't recall reading anyone here using them. Would not be my choice for a lift.

Its funny how it says "requires minor cutting and drilling" and "bolt on installation" in the same description :rofl::rofl:

Thanks everyone! I just received this deal from an email. I thought Id ask the best place where I know Id get an honest opinion from multiple people. Any suggestions? I have a $1300 budget. I am looking for a 2.5-3in lift not including the wheels yet. I just don't want to do spacers. I will not be doing much off roading. I also want something that would last for awhile. Thanks again.

Not if he is going to pay to have installed. If he does it himself, he is very close. I would put the budget closer to 1500

Yeah I just assume everyone can put on 5100s themselves lol. I gotta stop doing that

And if he can install that. Then 5100s are cake.

Screw it. At that point he could install Long travel

But they're sooooo expensive. And I'm still looking for OEM stuff. Mostly just finding aftermarket

Thanks again! The 5100 and AAL was another one that I was looking at since I have read quite a few here. I only hear good things about that set up. So I think I will go with that and just save up to bump up my budget. Oh and by the way, yes Ill be able to do the install myself and some help ofcourse from buddies. You all have a blessed day. Thank you
