that is closer to what what mine sounds like but i'd have to go out for a listen and this couch is too comfortable. :D
even that hurts me ears but may be more normal.

curious: i had impression you gave it back to dealer (ie some probationary period, maybe state law, for purchase).
are you saying you still own it and they are investigating?

edit: fwiw, HPFP easy to replace if that is the culprit.
edit 2: so is vac pump (in same physical area) for that matter. here "easy" means no disassembly of engine required :D

So I took it back to the dealer since I only had it for 12 days. Here in Missouri their isn’t a lemon law on used cars it just goes by the dealer contract which reliable Chevrolet gives 30 days. So they are fixing it all for free. I only bought it at the Chevy dealership because the Toyota dealership here sucks.

So they are fixing it for free. Once it’s fixed I’ll get it back. Without any charge.

    Yeah.
I heard it in both videos, but the first one was definitely louder. I'm with the others, my guess is HPFP or vacuum pump.

it would be interesting to see/hear a video of it when you get it back. before after sorta thing.
even though these things are similarly noisy, they are not identical. knowing what they changed and the difference it makes would be valuable info.

I didn’t have a choice had to take it back to the dealership that I bought it at so it wouldn’t cost money. But the Chevy dealership and Toyota dealership are together where I’m from if that makes sense.

The vacuum pump was going out, so that’s what was causing it.

I have 23 TRD Sport and my truck has all the performance I need and my transmission shift’s perfect. I really don’t see the need for a tune these are not race trucks to each his own. IMHO

    Yeah.
You won't find many people here that have the OTT tune and will say anything bad about it, just like most mods people do. When I ran stock and +1 size tires, the stock tune was fine. I've gone to 33's, and rather than tune, I did 5.29 gears and it drives great now.

To each is own . But any time you modify things like that you are rolling the dice . Now stuff like gears to help with larger tires I’m all for if you want more response . But honestly the power is fine . It gets me from A To B . I like the way it looks , I am totally comfortable driving in it , I have a nice sound system upgrade now , it’s all paid for so I’m good . Just drive it and maintain it and you will enjoy for many years
