    Was looking under the tuck and noticed this mark under the rear diff.

    Can someone tell me is this should be addressed or if it’s normal.

    ^Go to the dealer with a printout of the PDF. Tell them you have the same defect cited in the 2016-2017 recall.

    ^Going by your pic, I don't think it'll result in a harmful reduction in oil level, unless the leak gets worse.

    absolutely. it's not loosing fluid, it's weeping.

    you could drive it for another 200,000 miles and never have an issue from that.

    older gm's did that automatically, for 'rust prevention'

    Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
    Some brands of synthetic fluids are almost impossible to contain when it comes to weeping.

    Gasket is paper iirc so that’s pretty normal, haven’t seen a tacoma that didn’t do this
