Is this part removable for aftermarket LED?

Under the front headlights there is a small 'sub-piece' that looks removable; see pic. My question is, is it? I'd like to add some LED's up front and this looks like the optimal location for an aftermarket set of LED's that would look like a stock fit. I replaced my front stock reflectors in my 08' 350Z with LED's that are hard wired to the running lights and I'd like to do the same on the Taco. I want to black out the chrome on the front grille and I'm guessing that it would save time to do all of this at once.

    Thanks

The thing is you don't pry it off. You might have to take the grille off to get to a bolt so keep that in mind.

Yes you do pry it off. There is no bolt. Remove the grill and then release the retaining clip on the side closest to be grill. Then pull out about an inch on the side you just released, and pull gently but firmly towards the center of the truck. You will likely hear plastic "break" but it still goes in just fine. You have a 50/50 chance of breaking the second retaining clip, but it still goes back in place and holds just fine. I've removed these a few times

I like that mod but the ebay listing says it doesn't fit a 2014.. They look identical, does anyone know what the difference is between 2013 and 2014 in that area?

No difference. I would be more apt to buy it from the Amazon link I posted earlier though. Just my personal preference.

Shouldn't be any difference. There was no changes from the 13' to 14' models.

3000 Post here at TW. Accomplishment? Or I have way too much time on my hands?

It's bad enough that they have a non-functioning hood scoop on the sport but they have to slap a stick on hood scoop on that model...

*EDIT* Is that a led light right next to the orange reflector in the headlight itself? Kind of looks like one?

I think that circle near the reflector is a wheel from a nearby vehicle... But it looks like it could be an LED though.
